Scott—an industry insider with 20+ years in healthcare—sat there realizing that no one had followed up. No one had ensured he received the care he needed. There was no outreach. No scheduling. No handoff. Just an assumption that patients like him would somehow handle it.
That letter could’ve cost him his life.
