Abax Health Receives SOC2 Type 2 Certification

Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification places Abax Health in an elite group of organizations worldwide that have earned this certification.

The audit was conducted in accordance with the requirements of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. SOC 2 Type 2 is considered the gold standard for data and information security and provides companies with assurance that Abax Health complies with stringent industry security standards.

The auditing process included an in-depth review of company policies and procedures for data handling and tests of the organization's security controls. This kind of audit ensures that service providers such as Abax Health, securely manage data to protect the interests and privacy of their healthcare clients and their patient’s data. For security-conscious healthcare providers, SOC 2 Type 2 compliance is a necessary requirement both internally and externally.
